The loved ones of young people lost after a deadly blaze at a venue in a Switzerland's winter destination are enduring an painful period of uncertainty for confirmed information and appealing for information about their family members via social media.

The inferno devastated the Le Constellation bar in Cans-Montana, located in the Swiss Alps of the Valais region, in the early hours of January 1st. Verified images show the ceiling igniting as bottles with fireworks are held aloft.

Authorities have indicated that it could take considerable time to identify the victims of the tragedy, which resulted in the death of numerous partygoers and wounded another scores more. Teenage sportsman Emanuele Galeppini, sixteen, was last in contact around the turn of the new year on New Year's Eve, his father said.

One of those is Emanuele Galeppini, a teenage sportsman, originally from Genoa but now living in the UAE.

Giovanni Tamburi, sixteen, is also among the missing. His mother said that he had been on holiday but had ventured out with a group and found himself at the venue.

"A companion said they ran away after the fire broke out and that he had his phone with him, but then at a specific moment he they were separated," she said, adding he had been wearing a distinctive piece of jewelry.

One of his teachers stated, "I've always been struck by his kindness and positive demeanor, combined with great maturity. Every time ask if get me a coffee."

Alice Kallergis, who holds dual Swiss and Greek citizenship but lives permanently in the country, was also present on New Year's Eve, according to sources.
