Women Rally In Support of Catherine Zeta-Jones Over Age-Related Criticism

Oscar-winning actor Zeta-Jones was subject to online commentary regarding her looks during an industry event last month.

Females are uniting behind acclaimed star Catherine Zeta-Jones after she was targeted by disparaging remarks on social media over her looks at a recent high-profile function.

The actor was present at an industry gathering in Hollywood on 9 November during which a TikTok interview about her character in the latest the 'Wednesday' show became dominated due to discussion concerning her age.

Widespread Backing

This year's Miss Great Britain Classic winner, Laura White, labelled the negative reaction "absolute rubbish", adding that "males escape such a timeline that women do".

"Men are free from this sell-by/use-by date that women do," stated Laura White.

Writer and commentator Sali Hughes, 50, said in contrast to men, women were criticized as they age and she ought to be free to appear as she wishes.
